Summer Camp 2017 takes place at Southover School, Potters Lane, Lewes on:
24th - 27th July
31st July - 3rd August
7th - 10th August
Monday - Thursday
Each week is different.
Hours are: 9.30am - 3.30pm
Extended hours offered: 8.30am - 4.30pm (except on the last day when the performance will begin at 3.30pm and end at 4.30pm).
Suitable for Reception to Year 5 children (5-10 year olds).
£120 per child, £106 for siblings or two or more friends together. A £30 deposit per child and completed and returned booking form confirms your place. Extended times are available at £5 per hour or £8 for both hours.
What we do: We explore the children's own story threads and then weave them together to create a play. The focus is on performing arts and creative arts & crafts alongside free play during break times.
We end the Summer Camp with an informal sharing presentation which takes the form of a devised performance which includes props, costumes and other creations the children have made themselves during the week.
Everything your child makes with us, they can take home on the final day.
My children have tried lots of holiday activities but I have never seen them so enthusiastic and keen to come to Intrepid. Thank you. Anna Carter
Both my daughters attended Intrepid’s summer camp and in their 3-days, not only couldn’t they wait to go every day - they had so much fun from making their props through to thinking up the story for their show through to doing the presentation. As a parent, I was thrilled because my daughters are usually so shy – but they got to be creative, make new friends of different ages and build such confidence to be part of a show. Jenny Williams
Anna really enjoyed herself on Summer Camp. I thought the kids did so well with their plays and I could see how much work went into them. Thank you.
Miranda had a great time at Summer Camp. It is very unusual for her not to be reluctant to go to holiday activities. She looked forward to it every day and loved being able to freely create the script. The final chase scene was very funny.
